At last bidding farewell to 2009, a year which brought so much of joy, sorrow, moments of hopes and despair. Not that it was way different than others but considering the magnitude of events i have to admit “Unique it was”. A year which saw so many happenings that I almost had a feeling that it will never end. Certainly one of the longest year of my life and I just hope that even 20 years ahead (I don’t intend to live long you know ! ) I can say that 2009 was the longest and most shocking (in every sense of the word) year of my life. A year which has satiated my memory’s hunger to the fullest and i don’t think it will ask for more in many many years to come. Not that i have high hopes from 2010 but I wouldn’t be surprised if 2010 qualifies as one of the best when compared to 2009.

But inspite of all this, it has given me so much of everything that I can never be more thankful. It gave me friends (the real ones whom I can count on) and made me realize some who were “friends in disguise”. Harsh experiences and bitter truths brought me closer to the darkness of this world and made me travel much beyond fantasies and dreams.

GOD ! make me suffer but I hate to consume cyanide, gimme slow poison, kill me slowly. Let me bear the pain for I intend to enjoy the pain and feel death atleast once before I die. With such nasty comments I bid farewell to 2009 and with such humble hopes I welcome 2010.

Welcome to WordPress.com. This is your first post. Edit or delete it and start blogging!

My first post looks (and especially starts) like this because:

1) I wanted to salvage it for future ( I am sure that it will serve as a memory some day far ahead in time, good or bad am not sure yet)

2)My upcoming post which I drafted a couple of hours back & which is in the pipeline is on a pretty serious note. I don’t want my first post to be a serious one so kicking off with this one.

3) I wanted to let you all know the reason for which I am starting my blog. It’s because of someone I truly respect a lot and admire. I hope that I too cultivate the habit of writing like that person (which I know that for a guy like me is nowhere near possible but still giving it a shot.) When the correct time comes, I shall reveal that person’s identity.

A Quick Checklist

1) I would like to write as often as possible i.e. whenever I find time from what people call routine work (studies and stuff) although it all seems absurd and out of place to me

2) A couple of weeks back I dived into the ocean of “Novels” , THE ALCHEMIST being my first read, though I have read 3 of Chetan’s books but people hardly accept them as a novel. So to maintain this habit of reading (books) and writing (blogs) I hereby promise that whenever I finish reading a novel, I would try to post something on the same day.

3) I don’t intend to hurt anyone’s feeling neither do i claim that whatever I pen down is the DIVINE TRUTH. They are just my thoughts (plain, simple & unadulterated) So i plead all those disgruntled readers to refrain from taking anything against them and get offended even in the minutest of scales

4) Life as we all see, comes in all forms and leaves us in different moods everyday. Hence i don’t promise to maintain monotonicity of thought and vision through all my posts. I am a human being and a pretty emotional one, as a matter of fact.I get carried away by things very easily and as a commoner tend to have swings of mood quite often. Whatever I post may be a reflection of my then state of mind but I assure you all that it never had and it never will have a permanent abode.
